How to set a password without opening the control panel. The user can set a password to the computer system without opening the control panel. The user will need to know only some steps that are given below :

Step 1: Go to Desktop of the Computer System.

Step 2 : Left click on My Computer :

Step 3 : Click on Manage :

Step 4 : After opening the window click on Local Users and Groups in Left Panel :

Step 5: On the right panel side click on Users.

Step 6 : Right Click on Selected User :

Step 7 : Click on Set Password :

Step 8 : Click OK
